Prior to founding Counsel Connect, Kristy was Head of the Perth office of Lawyers On Demand responsible for a large team providing flexible legal resources to its corporate clients.
Before joining Lawyers on Demand, Kristy ran her own consultancy and has held management roles in several law firms and in international and boutique recruitment companies.
From a start-up in Western Australia in 2008, Ken led the business through national and international expansion, multiple mergers and acquisitions, investment from UK private equity house Bowmark Capital, and ultimately to a successful sale to Consilio LLC in 2023.
Prior to establishing LOD, Ken was a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills specialising in the delivery of projects in the Western Australian energy, resources and infrastructure sectors.
She has broad-ranging experience conducting workplace investigations for a range of organisations, across the private sector, as well as for government agencies and the not-for-profit sector.
Rebecca has been an Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Law and has lectured on HR management and employment law at several Western Australian universities.
She is also a founding member of the Perth circle of the Australasian Association of Workplace Investigators and remains actively involved.
